Esplanade Necklace

Silver, Gold, Jade, Diamond, Amethyst, and Moonstone

This fully articulated necklace is made with the same silver/gold laminate that was typical of jewelry from the Victorian period. 

The silver was backed with gold for strength. This technique was replaced by the advent of platinum as a white metal, though there is no comparison for the subtle beauty of oxidized silver as a compliment to exotic gemstones.
